happy midautumn festival. haha.

the celebration in school just past, and I'm reminded of last year's midautumn festival celebration.

when almost all (?), ok some. of the 2c girls went to play vball together in the court.
and went off to slack sometimes, buy drinks, walk around etcetc.

very normal stuff.
but somehow I can remember it so clearly.

and the celebration on the parade square, all the classes sitting in circles, the closeness, the bondedness.

and for me, going back with liwen on the bus, having a longgg talk with her about some personal stuff. that, I won't forget(:

2C peeople who feel like Lihui, Lihui, and etc!
Firstly please do not worry, today is only Day 3, and its only the beginning. Perhaps its time you get noticed and not wait to get noticed, cos' people who at Year 3 have got frieends and all that already. Can be a lonely process but please remember as the year goes on, no matter what! The classrooms around you,

There's at least another Cadmusian in every other class! (Except 3L actually!)

Looking into 2C. I have this urge to go in and sit down, study like I used to. Play like I used to, look forward to seeing idiots, cute ones, when I enter morning classroom. But somehow all I'll see around me are empty tables and chairs.

I think the empty tables and chairs photo is very important to me. Physically, Cadmus might not be together. But Mentally, do remember, Cadmus is there to help you break through loneliness.

Now Cadmus, if you see us around, do wave like we used to, do talk like we used to. We haven't changed, we've just moved into another phase of life, but still having the ability to keep what we had in the previous.

Sigh I feel like crying.

Oh well, Cadmus, you guys are really missed.

Ah Cadmus. Missing you guys like million times over and over all of a sudden. I think its Shuqi's video. Anyway for the Chalet. I'm really sad its over ): To that 21 who slept over, it was a weird experience. And for all who were there, hope you ate well. And laughed and smiled as much as the other kias did. Anyway I kinda regret not taking a big big group picture, but I realised i can put everyone's face together in some Chalet backdrop, cos after all everything was taken during chalet. And yup anyway. I won't say my personal experiences (or else will cry, and everyone has basically said whatever I wanted to say.....)

remember the first day of school, we stepped into 1C classroom as total strangers. and 797 asked us to line up according to height to go for flag-raising.

remember our very first class outing to Sentosa? the stupid seawater conflict! hahaha.

well i guess it was all these dumb conflicts that brought us closer together as a class right (:

i'll never forget how we studied together, laughed together, played together, encouraged each other, had fun together, emo-ed together, cried together, made jokes together. (four over nine, dou hua ah yi, OC, biollo's literary devices, and many many more Cadmus Special Jokes :D)

how we'll always run to the toilet before history lesson, until mrs kang started coming to class super early.

how we piss teachers off, but they still love us anyway. :D

how kanglaoshi always says that we're the best class in shui mo hua, although he says that to every class, but whatever.

how we whacked each others butts (spread the love!) and lifted up each other's skirts.

how we grew together, bonded together, loved together.

and many many more beautiful memories (refer to all the other posts) that will remain in my heart forever and ever and ever.

although we're separating, we'll still be together! 'cause invisible superglue is going to glue all our hearts together, as the Best Class of 2007.
we'll have class reunions and all that, as emily says, even until we're old and we have no more teeth.

虽然人已不再，但始终，回忆活活地，留在我们的脑海中。

Okay currently there are about 6 (emo) posts dedicated to dearest Cadmusians. Im not really a very expressive person, but yeah just so you know that I really love Cadmus, no less than any other Cadmusian! :)

I forgot what this was describing. Anyway, even though Cadmus is just one class in Singapore, and maybe an (abnormal) class of 35, since like most of the other classes have 36, we're not lacking at all, be it in Vibrancy, or Life, or Enthusiasm, compared to any other class in the Nation. (or World, yes)

Cadmus is made up of special people from different places, with different lives. And yes, this has been mentioned before somewhere :) Alright. Its really the affinity that has brought us all together. Take for example, if Gaohui did not choose to come to Dunman High, would she have a chance to be our Oldest Sister? (Although she's leaving but well..) Another example, although I've a PSLE Agg of 246, I took DSA and when I got in, it was really a tough decision and I almost rejected coming to DHS. In the end I came.

Getting past the first round is not enough. You've got only a one-twelth probablity (Im sorry) in getting into this awesome class, and a one-hundredth* probability of being Year 2 as of 2007! So yeah, you've firstly got to understand that we were put together (be it by Fate, Destiny, or God) for a reason.

And probably, as it clearly can be seen now, it is because we were to learn from one another. Take friendships for example. Certain retarded conflicts, brought us closer to each other, in one way, or other. We learnt to change, or to be more sensitive. We learnt to be, well, caring towards these wonderful people around you, that, in the end, you realise, can actually love the same class as you, no amount lesser than you do. Well, I myself learnt that, I can actually love a class so much, shortly within a span of 2 years, and bond as much as we have! I used to think I had to bond for like 4 years before I could love a class that much.

Cadmus has been the class that introduced us into Dunman High. Coming from Schools all over Singapore, we sort of gathered into the tiny class room in Tanjong Rhu last year, and we started to slowly know each other, and the school, better by the day. Its been my pleasure (Hehe) to experience the maturing of many classmates. Be it character, hairstyles or shapes, almost everyone of us have changed significantly, and to be witnesses through everyday changes, its been meaningful, as you can roughly understand the total change, the class has gone through, these 2 years.

So I guess everyone's not going to get used to their class next year, as after all, we haven't been in DHS with a foreign class, before. Even if there was a transformation from P2 to P3, but we were still young, bonded classes hadn't even existed then.

So i'm hoping that each and everyone of us will continue leading a happy life in Dunman High, be it with some Cadmus classmates (Lucky ass) or maybe not at all (You still will be contacting us okay!). Don't hold back, display the same Cadmus spirit that has been cultivated in the class, and contribute it back to your class. That's how you'll not be letting Cadmus, the family, down. By offering tough competition between the Year 3 classes, and by continuing the legacy of the Best Class of 2007, really.

There are certainly many things I can thank this family for. A warm family, filled with smiles around the class, for I feel glad to be studying in Cadmus. Just like what we wanted to achieve, in that Leadership Talk held in the Library, Cadmus is now no longer, just a bonded egg. In fact, we're all now birds, or whatever that hatched, out of the egg. Now we're free, but its up to us, whether or not we're going to continue to be growing up with each other. The other classes witnessed our "2C will be very bonded" in the class.

We succeeded, we emerged :)
I'm glad we have. And please treat that Cert with care, and treat it like some "Part of Best Class 2007" Diploma Cert :D Well, frankly speaking. With reference to KS' tag. Its really heart warming to know that, well, we're learning to Cherish this class, so dear to our heart. So well, Cadmus dears! You guys have given me the best of memories, and well (quoted) I'll hold them dear to my heart.

i know all the words that im gonna say here is probably already spoken a million times by all the various ppl who alr blogged here before me. but im still gonna say it anyway.

we will never survive these two years in dhs without our beloved class all the times.
we went through ups and downs, thick and thin, we pulled through everything.

and now that its the end, just wanna say.
how much i love every single one of cadmusians.

i never knew i love the class so much.

is NOT just a class.

i didnt have the courage to read the class blog yesterday, but i did today. and the result was still streams of tears.

special thanks to shuqi, yokeming and jiayun who posted. (and please agree that yokeming is a super nice guy)

CADMUS TO US: (and i know you all will agree)
- had been the best class we've went to
- contained the most number of people you've ever hugged and ever cried with
- provided all of us with the funniest times in class
- (as a result!) we were never so keen to attend school and lessons

Some of us might be in the same class next year, others, perhaps not as lucky. Because of the different subject preferences.

In this 2 years, as classmates, we got to know each other more through all the activites, some of us becoming good friends, some maybe not-so-good friends.

Most people, I believe, will certainly miss the times in cadmus, some, maybe not so enthu lah. Seriously lah, Jia Ren, play less maple, DK so fun meh, come class chalet lah, we will miss u(maybe).

Although we will not be together in the same class anymore, come on, cheer up! Remember the good times in Cadmus, look forward to the fun with your future classmates. Although nxt year, 2C will be 2 Cresmic instead of 2 Cadmus, the class will always exist within our hearts, not in reality.

(Can we stop for while?)

There are still 4 years waiting for us in Dunman High, for those in IP, in these 4 years, we will still see each other frequently, just in a different perspective. Perhaps without so many things to say, perhaps as opponents in an inter-class challenge, perhaps already with new friends. But, we must remember, if you treat a person as your classmate, he or she will always be your classmate, maybe even for eternity.

Once a classmate, always a classmate. Nothing will be able to change this fact if you believe in it.

Right from the start, we were strangers beginning on a new journey. we came from all walks of life, we wore different uniform, we all behaved differently. however, through these very fruitful 2 years, we shared tears, laughters, sweat and even blood. we went through countless thick and thin. now, we all cried for the same reason, we all cheered for the same reason and we all smiled for the same concern.

From orientation, we get to know the familar faces within us. we managed to broke the ice between us. we built up our class spirit and we unite as one. remember the time when we cheered at the top of our lungs, remember the times when during meals, we all squeezed into 4 pathetic benches. the identity we made, the best flag of the year, the class logo board... we kept up till today. those are our very first memory together.

then the inter-class challenge. we came up with the very unique cadmus fish on the wall - that symbolised us! the screwed wall at the back of the class, turn out to be the most outstanding and the wining features of 1C classroom. the very own cadmus door! the side wall with all our names. and even the wall with out palm prints. i swear they are all very nice! though we may only know each other just a little more than a month, we stayed back in school late to complete out class paintings. we stained our clothes, we had dirty bodies with paints but nevertheless, it is a very fun filled experience! indeed, our hardwork paid off, we won!!!

through all the events and celebrations held, we had fun, joy and laughters. no matter those games we played- won or lost, we simply were just to loving to each other. it was racial harmony day... sorry for making everyone find traditional costume. but nonetheless, we won the best dressed class. once again, we were the outstanding class, we outshined the other.

bits and pieces during the year i remembered. cadmus was always late for events. we felt embarassed but we still stayed together as a class. when others were late, we the cadmus was the earliest! that very morning, when the PA system didnt work, we were the earliest in the parade square while others did not know bell rang. why? this is because the very blur me mistaken someone's MP3 music as the music (: no matter what, we are always the special ones!

level camp... it as tiring, dreadful and all the bad comments surfaced. but it was the first time, we are with one another for the whole day and night. we sleep, eat, bathe and had fun together and we helped and supported each other. although we totally screwed up the campfire performance, ~~we made a fool of ourselves~~, we shed those very precious tears together. to others, we may seems like fools and nuts, but in our hearts, we are forever darlings for one another. first night, i was down with my spreeing spree and fever. but thanks to all your support and encouragements, i managed to pull through. through the nights, some girls stayed up to chat. i vividly remember they were chatting about their lives, their family and every aspect of them (however, im trying very hard to get my sleep) we grew closer to one another, thats a undeniable fact.

we have had a few class outings, some was successful, some was a failure. the escape theme park incident, the sentosa incident. those were some dark and hard times we went through. although sometimes disputes spilled, we shall try our best to resolve it peacefully.

as the classchairperson of last year, i know i may not have done a fantastic job, i may be very demanding at times, and even to the extent of unreasonable. i would like to apologise if i have offended you guys. last year, i always say you guys did not cooperate with the reps and comm, giving them a very difficult times. BUT YOU GUYS PROVED ME WRONG! you guys can be the most wonderful people!

towards end of year one. we had interclass sports! the girls, did an excellent job, emerging champion; the boys, though did not win any but they stood strong and brave. in the hot sun we stood, we held banners, papers with encouragements. we cheered, we screamed! we shared the joy of wining.

the achievements we attained in 1C didnt end. we moved on to 2C together. we have grown physically, psychologically and mentally. i was touched to see everyone so bonded, so close to one another.

this year start off with a loud bang! with extreme and explore. explore we won numerous prizes, extreme we were simply fastabulous! we participated with high spirits, we ran with all our hearts and souls.

then 2007 peaked with level camp in pulau ubin. we definitely had fun! we sweat, we stink, we hurt our butts, we eat untasty food! we endured the pain but at the same times, enjoyed ourselves. that very night we gathered class by class. we were so emotional that we hugged each other and cry. this moved ms chua to tears too. ~~im glad you guys missed my crazy singing!~~im sure, we were more than best, as compared to others. ms chua: "when is your best time during the camp?" shuqi: " it is now, seeing 2C so bonded together." it was simply very touching. we all did not want to go back to our chalet, we want to cherish more time together.

then come term 3 and term 4 - the busiest part. we came to realise that time we have together was running out. we have to treasure and fully make use of it. exams came near, we picked ourselves up and started mugging. we stayed back late together in school to revise and study. i know times were stressful, but it is something we had to go through. some people buck-ed up, some people struggled, and even some people face it with ease.

no matter how well you have done for your exams, or how badly you failed. DO NOT GIVE UP! do not just stop at the level you are at, keep crawling to higher level. although it may be a difficult journey uphill, we have to carry on! after those struggles, we will see sunshine and rainbow waiting for us at the end. let us all celebrate and enjoy as we all had pulled through.

time flies and now, we already have ended our post exam activities. those talks were sianned, we endured together. those presentations were sianned too, we try our best to sneak out of the LTs. inline skating was challenging for some people. but, we extend our hands and hearts to every of us. we helped and supported one another. we fell down many times, but we pick ourselves up! from a person who cant skate, to someone who can already skate, it is all thanks to the hands and helps of 2C. hip hop(e) dance and kick boxing was a total boredom and sleepy session! we tried out best to stand up. and also, we laughed and laughed and laughed (for some reasons i you know) and were threaten to go up the stage by the instructors.

we cried for half a day on the very last day (today) we were late again. and came in with red face, wet eyes and everything. we invited looks from people. i think, they know the reasons behind - WE ARE TOO BONDED, WE CANT BEAR TO SEPERATE and many other reasons. we cried non stop... before the start, to after the end.

WE ARE THE BEST CLASS OF 2007! we won the class league. we well deserved it! we work hard towards it, we unite as one to achieve it, we all played a part and contributed in achieving this!

we would like to thank all the teachers, who provided us with guidance and knowledge and showered us with love and care. without them, our 2 fruitful would not have made possible.

i would like to thank all cadmusian, for all you have done and contributed. for all laughter and joy each of us brought into the class. and last but not least, for being such excellent, fantastic, wonderful, extraordinary friends! you guys have played a important part of my life...

THIS LOVE WILL CARRY ON! we will never end our relationship!
happiness, joy, euphoria, blessedness, exhilaration, jubilation, sadness, anguish, grief, melanchol, emo-ness, anger, annoyance, disappointment AND ALL EXPRESSION WE SHARED! we will never forget. we shall always keep it as memory in a corner of our brain. and play it like a film as and when and always fo life. ten years down the road twenty years after today, we will still be friends. we will still greet each other in school and on streets.

im sure THIS are just words and texts. it cant describe what we are feeling now. the reminiscence, the nostalgic and the wistful, long yearning to return to the past!
